Own design, development, and maintenance of automated test scripts covering UI (Selenium WebDriver), API (RestAssured), and integration layers to ensure software quality.
Embed and maintain automated checks across CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable feedback, while monitoring performance and security compliance.
Mentor junior testers on automation best practices and contribute to go/no-go release readiness decisions using test evidence and performance metrics.
Minimum Requirements
5-8 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation for web and services.
Proficient programming skills in Java (preferred) and/or JavaScript; experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Maven, IntelliJ IDEA.
Strong API automation experience using RestAssured; familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter; experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; experience with MongoDB, Postgres, and DB2 database validation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in Agile/Scrum environments with shift-left quality practices and hands-on involvement in software development lifecycle.
Skilled in creating fast, stable, and readable automated test suites including API, UI, and contract testing with strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Capable of working across time zones, collaborating effectively with onshore and offshore teams and using AI-assisted tools for QA and automation coding.
