Data Engineering Manager II

Lead and manage a team of 6-10 senior engineers across multiple squads, driving technical strategy and delivery for complex product domains.

Own architectural evolution of team systems focusing on reliability, scalability, and performance.

Partner with product and business leadership to align team goals with medium- and long-term strategy, ensuring measurable impact on user experience.

Minimum 4+ years experience managing engineering teams with senior individual contributors.

Proven experience in delivering initiatives spanning multiple teams or complex product domains.

Strong technical expertise in software development (e.g., Java/Go, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Messaging Queues, Cloud Services) including leading architectural discussions.

Experience working with product managers to align technical strategy with business objectives.

Experienced leader skilled in managing high-performing senior engineering teams with a focus on technical excellence and strategic delivery.

Comfortable operating in complex, fast-paced environments requiring resolution of cross-team dependencies and Agile methodologies.

Background or strong interest in fintech or eCommerce domains preferred but not mandatory.
