Lead technical design and architecture for scalable, resilient digital platforms using Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Drive end-to-end software delivery including development, testing (TDD), deployment (CI/CD), observability, and production support with modern engineering practices.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers, collaborate in Agile teams, and ensure high engineering quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years of experience in enterprise web application and backend service development with strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot skills.
3+ years of practical experience with public cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and associated services (Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Memorystore/Redis).
Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful API design, automated testing (JUnit, Mockito), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology, MCA, or equivalent.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in architecting scalable, distributed, cloud-native solutions particularly on GCP with deep knowledge of cloud services and microservices patterns.
Practiced in modern software engineering methodologies including Extreme Programming (XP), Test-Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, and continuous integration/deployment.
A technical leader able to guide complex technical decisions, mentor engineers, and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
