Support and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS) powering Disney’s Ad Technology data platforms, focusing on Airflow (MWAA), Spark, Flink (EKS), and Databricks.
Own incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and platform reliability improvements for production EKS workloads and CI/CD systems.
Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to build infrastructure automation (Terraform) and contribute operational documentation and standards.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps with background in data systems support.
Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure components including IAM, VPC, EKS, ALB/NLB and data platforms like MWAA, Databricks, Spark and Flink on Kubernetes in production.
Experience supporting CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and Spinnaker; working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and scripting (Python, Go).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing and troubleshooting large-scale cloud-native data infrastructure in production environments, especially AWS EKS with Spark/Flink workloads.
Comfortable engaging in on-call incident management and root cause analysis across globally distributed teams with strong cross-team collaboration experience.
Skilled in automating infrastructure and monitoring, with a focus on platform stability and operational excellence in high-availability, advertising-related data systems.
