Lead Software Engineer

Lead design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas within Consumer and Community Banking.

Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational stability.

Lead evaluation of external vendors and internal technologies; head communities of practice to promote cutting-edge technologies and effective engineering patterns.

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

Minimum 10 years of experience in software engineering and architecture with focus on Java, Spring Boot, RESTful Web Services, and AWS technologies.

Hands-on expertise in system design, application development, testing, operational stability, and advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages.

Experience leading teams of technologists; proficiency in automation, CI/CD, agile methodologies, security, and AI-assisted software development tools.

Strong background in enterprise software development with leadership experience driving technology adoption and team performance.

Experienced in integrating AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security, compliance, and validation standards.

Ability to engage with senior leadership and lead cross-functional evaluation of emerging technologies and architectural designs.
