Manage end-to-end UAV product development work packages or sub-tracks ensuring delivery within Quality, Cost, and Timeline (QCT) targets.
Plan, execute, and track prototype builds, V&V test campaigns, certification, and change implementations coordinating across engineering, supply chain, and production teams.
Monitor project controls including schedules, risk (RAID logs), and reporting; deputise for Project Manager and independently manage smaller projects under PMO guidance.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related).
6 to 10 years total experience with at least 5 years in project management or project execution for engineering product development, preferably UAV, aerospace, defence, automotive or electro-mechanical hardware.
Proficient with project management tools (Zoho Projects, MS Project or Jira) and techniques including CPM, Earned Value, risk and change management.
Work Experience Required: 6 to 10 years including 5+ years in project management/project execution roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in stage-gate product development and prototype build with knowledge of V&V cycles and project controls.
Familiar with regulatory certification processes (DGCA, Blue UAS, FCC or equivalent) and quality management (AS9100).
Capable of cross-functional coordination, risk escalation, and stakeholder communication in engineering R&D environments managing complex product deliveries.
