Develop, extend, and maintain SAP planning environment functionality (ABAP/ABAP OO) focusing on stable and performant processes with large data volumes.
Build and configure interfaces (IDoc, RFC, OData, CIF, APIs) and SAP PP/PP-DS or S/4HANA planning processes; perform error analysis, debugging, and performance optimization.
Provide 3rd-level support including error handling and monitoring via SAP AIF; create technical documentation and support testing and go-live activities.
Minimum Requirements
10-12 years of SAP ABAP development experience, ideally in planning/logistics environment.
Strong technical skills in ABAP/ABAP OO and interface technologies including SAP AIF, IDoc, RFC, OData; experience in SAP PP/planning environment.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. or equivalent).
Fluent English communication required; location is Bangalore, India; Hybrid work model with CET business hours overlap.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in handling large data volumes and optimizing SAP planning processes end-to-end, including interface implementation and monitoring.
Familiar with SAP S/4HANA technologies and agile development methodologies (Scrum); adept at root-cause analysis and 3rd-level support.
Comfortable collaborating in distributed international teams within an offshore delivery model and able to coordinate with architects and business stakeholders.
