Own the accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions including monthly and quarterly close, balance sheet reconciliation, and reviews within a GBS center.
Ensure adherence to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) controls, Group Finance Manual, and Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs), including maintaining control matrices and SOPs.
Manage audit requests and support various audit types (Statutory, Internal, Tax, Transfer Price) while driving process improvements and implementing new tools in the Record to Report (R2R) domain.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or MAB Finance).
5 to 8 years of experience specifically in the Record to Report (R2R) domain.
Hands-on experience with SOX control frameworks and month-end close processes.
Familiarity with ERP and reporting tools such as AX2009, Hyperion, TM1, or Tagetik.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience working in large or listed companies, preferably in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals industry.
Ability to maintain high-quality data, resolve aged open items, and manage control adherence in complex finance environments.
Comfortable working in morning/general shifts and flexible with travel requirements.
