Design, build, and maintain reliable Python-based data pipelines and backend services/APIs on AWS and Kubernetes.
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned tasks including design, testing, code reviews, releases, and production support.
Ensure data quality, production reliability, and collaborate closely with engineering and DevOps teams to maintain infrastructure and CI/CD.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years in software engineering with 5+ years of commercial Python and backend development experience, including Django or FastAPI.
3+ years working with data pipelines and data engineering (ETL/ELT, batch processing) and AWS cloud services.
3+ years experience with PostgreSQL and 2+ years with non-relational/search databases (Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or DynamoDB).
2+ years Kubernetes experience deploying and running services; proven ability to independently own technical tasks end-to-end.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in Python backend development with strong hands-on skills and deep knowledge of cloud-based backend services on AWS or similar.
Comfortable owning complex technical solutions independently while effectively collaborating with infrastructure and engineering teams.
Focuses on building stable, scalable, and well-tested data pipelines and backend systems with attention to data correctness and production reliability.
