Senior Buyer / Assistant Manager Sourcing

Define and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodity portfolio, including supplier base optimization and performance monitoring.

Lead supplier improvement initiatives and manage compliance with quality, delivery, and regulatory requirements.

Negotiate supplier contracts focused on cost leadership, supply chain flexibility, and support new product development projects as sourcing representative.

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with post-graduation in Management.

8-12 years of purchasing experience, preferably in automotive, compressor manufacturing, or engineering/industrial goods industry.

Ability to read technical drawings and experience in fabrication commodities; knowledge of compressor parts buying is a plus.

Fluency in English and onsite work requirement at Chakan, Pune, India.

Experienced in techno-commercial buying within manufacturing/supply chain environments, with a focus on cost reduction and supplier performance management.

Demonstrated capability to lead sourcing projects including new product development and supplier governance.

Effective negotiation skills with a strong business ethics orientation and ability to work in multicultural teams.
