Own Tableau Server administration in a distributed enterprise environment, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting on Linux platforms.
Monitor and improve Tableau Server performance, security, availability, and reliability through tuning and automation of administrative tasks using scripting.
Support Tableau developers with publishing and troubleshooting dashboards/workbooks and manage user access, permissions, schedules, and data sources to ensure smooth data operations.
Minimum Requirements
4-6 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Administration in enterprise environments.
Strong experience with Tableau Server administration on Linux, specifically Tableau Server versions 2024.x/2025.x.
Mandatory skills: Tableau Server Administration, Linux, Tableau Performance Tuning, Tableau Security & Administration, Shell Scripting/Automation, Tableau Admin Views/Workgroup Repository.
Candidate must be willing to work from office 5 days a week in Hyderabad, India.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing large-scale, distributed Tableau Server deployment and familiar with server-side architecture and troubleshooting in enterprise settings.
Proficient in automating Tableau administrative workflows and performance tuning using scripting within Linux environments.
Comfortable interfacing with Tableau Support and has a solid understanding of Tableau security, authentication, and enterprise administration complexities.
