Senior Manager, Software Engineering/Architecture

Manage and direct software engineering and architecture teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of projects with required quality standards.

Set operational goals, oversee development and coordination of software engineering/architecture processes and lifecycle, and manage resource allocation to meet project deliverables.

Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to resolve issues, guide architectural vision, and ensure adherence to standards, methodologies, and documentation.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Relevant certifications required.

Work Experience Required: Extensive experience managing and leading software development, engineering, and/or architecture teams including solid line management in a technical lead capacity.

Experience delivering large software projects with Agile or Waterfall methodologies in complex business environments and managing third-party services.

Experienced leader capable of managing large multi-disciplinary software engineering/architecture teams and aligning technical delivery with business goals.

Strong strategic thinker familiar with regulatory, risk, compliance environments, and able to develop and implement multi-supplier strategies.

Skilled collaborator with proven ability to engage stakeholders, translate complex technical concepts into business terms, and negotiate with decision makers.
