Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred but not mandatory.
5.5+ years of object-oriented programming experience in Java or Python.
Experience with cloud data platforms, especially Google Cloud frameworks like BigQuery, BigLake, Dataproc, and Cloud Composer.
Strong SQL skills including query performance tuning and experience with distributed systems design and scalability considerations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in building and maintaining large-scale, real-time and batch data processing platforms in cloud environments, primarily Google Cloud Platform.
Skilled in developing web services using RESTful APIs, Spring/Spring Boot, and messaging systems like Kafka or Pub/Sub.
Familiar with infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and building scalable, secure data platforms with a focus on platform reliability and efficiency.
