Support, enhance, and maintain Aptiv’s web-based automotive business intelligence tool within Sustaining Engineering L3 team.

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues in complex, distributed, legacy codebases, often with minimal documentation.

Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and users to troubleshoot, implement improvements, and validate fixes via acceptance testing.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.

6 to 13 years of web application software development experience.

Backend development experience with Java or Golang; experience building microservices using Service Oriented Architecture.

Ability to analyze and debug legacy code with minimal documentation; familiarity with software testing and debugging tools.

Experienced in maintaining complex legacy distributed systems and comfortable resolving ambiguous technical issues without detailed oversight.

Strong backend developer with microservices architecture knowledge and debugging proficiency.

Familiarity with evolving web technologies and continuous improvement, plus good communication to clearly document technical concepts.
