Prepare and conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations using the BlackLine tool, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and accounting standards.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across BP’s GBS, finance, and control teams to resolve discrepancies and support audit processes.
Drive continuous improvement and automation of reconciliation processes leveraging BlackLine functionalities.
Minimum Requirements
University degree and professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, or MBA.
7+ years of relevant experience in Record to Report (R2R) function including BlackLine account reconciliation, SAP ECC/S4 HANA, and MS Office Suite.
Experience with BlackLine and SAP FI-CO end-user functionalities is required.
Clear and fluent written and verbal communication skills.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in end-to-end financial process lifecycle (O2C, P2P, R2R) with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with GBS control monitoring and governance processes within a corporate environment.
Has worked with large-scale ERP systems and financial process improvements, preferably with exposure to power, oil and gas industry, Big4, or GBS/SSC environments.
