Design, develop, and enhance digital manufacturing solutions impacting global manufacturing productivity, data integrity, compliance, quality, and operational excellence.
Own one or more digital products including roadmap, backlog, technical architecture, lifecycle, deployment, user support, and lifecycle management across Lilly’s global manufacturing network.
Leverage AI tools (Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate development and embed AI capabilities responsibly into manufacturing digital solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering (Computer, Software, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical), or related scientific/engineering field.
Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience required.
Demonstrated software development skills with strong Python proficiency.
Experience working with validated systems in pharma/GMP manufacturing and accessing IT, OT, and ET manufacturing data sources.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience acting as owner or product owner for production-grade digital solutions with proven track record managing roadmaps, user support, and continuous enhancement.
Familiarity with manufacturing data platforms and protocols (Aveva PI, OPC UA, MQTT, SCADA) and creating analytics using Seeq, Power BI or similar tools.
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tooling into manufacturing engineering solutions responsibly within validated-system and compliance frameworks globally.
