Project Manager I - Data Engineer

Lead delivery and governance of a distributed onshore/offshore data engineering modernization program for a US enterprise client.

Manage a team of 25+ including onboarding, training, performance, and retention to ensure project continuity.

Act as primary client contact, oversee project plans, sprints, risks, resource allocation, and identify new support opportunities for account growth.

8 to 10 years IT experience with at least 4 years managing data engineering, migration, modernization, or ETL projects.

Minimum 3 years experience working directly with US-based clients.

Proven people management experience with distributed teams.

Strong Agile/Scrum delivery knowledge and experience with Jira or Azure DevOps tools.

Experienced program manager comfortable handling large distributed teams (25+ members) in a technical delivery environment without needing hands-on technical skills.

Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills, with demonstrated ability to run executive reviews and escalate issues effectively.

Experienced in resource planning, performance management, and driving account growth through identifying client needs and proposing solutions.
