Minimum Requirements
15+ years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on ownership of production Java backend systems at scale.
Expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka or equivalent messaging systems, and Microsoft Azure cloud.
On-site work availability in Dubai, UAE, for a minimum of 6 months.
Strong skills in concurrency, JVM performance tuning, API security (OAuth2, OIDC), and experience with API gateways such as WSO2, Kong or Azure API Management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in engineering production backend systems processing millions of transactions with deep understanding of scalability and performance bottlenecks.
Proficient in event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, database optimization, and distributed caching in enterprise environments.
Capable technical leader with expertise in secure, reliable, observable microservices and cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
