Head of Finance

Own end-to-end finance operations including accounting, monthly close, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, revenue recognition, commissions, and forecasting for a B2B SaaS company with hybrid subscription and usage billing.

Lead the implementation of usage-based billing on Stripe, from requirements gathering to first invoice issuance, and thereafter optimize pricing using real data.

Build and manage the in-house finance team starting with hiring your first accountant, and oversee coordination with external partners for tax, audit, and compliance matters.

9+ years in finance with at least 4 years in B2B SaaS as a senior finance person.

Direct experience with hybrid billing models including prepaid credits and usage-based billing; involvement in billing design is mandatory.

Proven ownership of US GAAP monthly close and revenue recognition under ASC 606 for subscription and usage revenue.

Mandatory skills: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, QuickBooks Online; must have worked with US order-to-cash and accounts payable processes.

Experienced in building and rebuilding finance functions from scratch in startup environments without existing finance teams.

Has hands-on experience creating and owning financial forecast models, not just updating existing ones.

Comfortable working with US clients and executives, with ability to overlap 3-4 hours in US Pacific or Eastern Time zones for collaboration.
