Lead / Senior Embedded Software V&V Engineer

Design, implement, and execute system and software level test protocols, including automated scripts for embedded medical systems.

Develop software test tools and new tests to improve product robustness and quality, aligned with Agile scrum sprints.

Create product release documentation such as verification and validation plans and test reports, and support cross-functional teams on field issue analysis.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant technical field.

3 to 10+ years of experience in embedded and system-level software testing.

Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages and experience with software verification and validation methodologies including writing test cases, plans, and reports.

Knowledge of defect management tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla required; regulated environment experience (e.g. medical devices) preferred but not mandatory.

Experienced in embedded software testing within regulated industries like medical devices, familiar with Agile development processes.

Hands-on expertise with automated testing frameworks and scripting for test automation.

Comfortable interfacing with multiple departments and driving efficiency improvements in testing and validation processes.
