Principal Software Engineer - Vue.Js

Lead modernization of existing Vue and PHP application by converting legacy jQuery pages to component-based Vue.

Deliver modern, responsive, accessible front-end interfaces focusing on performance and maintainability within the current tech stack.

Collaborate closely with product management and UX to translate experience goals into scalable technical solutions and ensure high front-end quality through code reviews and best practices.

Minimum 7 years of web application development experience, including 3+ years in cloud-native applications.

Expert-level skills in Vue 3, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS architecture, responsive and accessible web design, state management, and front-end performance optimization.

Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) integrated in professional workflows.

Ability to quickly ramp up on unfamiliar legacy codebases and work independently to solve complex problems.

Strong front-end architecture mindset with proven experience transforming legacy jQuery into modern Vue component systems within PHP-backed apps.

Hands-on engineer who designs and implements solutions themselves rather than just high-level design.

Comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development and spec-driven coding to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
