Software Engineering, Team Manager

Lead and manage engineering teams supporting critical assessment services in either Vue Testing Services or Test Delivery product areas.

Translate product priorities into team plans, oversee delivery metrics, and manage risk to ensure quality, reliability, and operational readiness.

Develop and retain engineering talent, establish team practices, and guide responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools.

Experience leading technical professionals and managing software engineering teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with Agile or iterative software delivery, cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, security, and operational readiness.

Practical exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and responsible risk management related to their adoption.

Leadership experience in software engineering within high-volume, operationally critical, or assessment-related technology platforms.

Ability to manage cross-functional, distributed teams involving product, architecture, quality, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

Proven skill in setting team goals, driving delivery quality, and improving engineering and delivery practices using measurable indicators.
