Implement performance tuning, bug fixes, and changes based on business requirements in a large legacy Java application.
Maintain and develop SQL data models with Oracle/PostgreSQL, including stored procedures, and manage build and deployment activities including Tomcat configuration.
Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies and manage tickets using JIRA while creating technical documentation in Confluence.
Minimum Requirements
5 to 10 years of software development experience.
Proficient in Java (versions 8 and 21+), Typescript, and frameworks including Struts, Wicket, React, Eclipselink classic, JPA, iBATIS.
Experience with SOAP, REST APIs, Camunda BPM, Elasticsearch, Linux, CI/CD tools (Selenium, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes), and build tools (Gradle, Maven, npm).
Experience working on very large monolithic legacy applications and knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in handling large legacy Java applications with strong performance optimization and debugging skills.
Comfortable working in Agile Scrum teams with active participation in ceremonies and build management.
Familiarity with diverse technologies across backend, frontend, and DevOps tools suggesting a broad full stack engineering background.
