Manage sales and use tax registrations, renewals, account closures, and maintain accurate tax records including resale and exemption certificates within Vertex Series O.
Support sales and use tax audits and respond to tax notices, coordinating with state and local taxing authorities and internal teams.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of experience in indirect tax, sales and use tax compliance, tax accounting, or public accounting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office; experience with ERP/financial systems like Oracle, SAP, or Workday.
Experience with sales and use tax compliance systems such as Vertex, OneSource, or Avalara preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience in managing multi-state sales and use tax compliance, audits, and reporting, preferably in multinational or shared services environments.
Skilled at analyzing large data sets, preparing reconciliations, and maintaining accurate tax records.
Capable of managing multiple priorities and working cross-functionally with global teams under deadlines.
