Lead - Cloud and Data Platform Operations

Own end-to-end 24/7 production operations and reliability of enterprise cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platforms, including incident escalation and resolution.

Lead a globally distributed follow-the-sun operations team ensuring seamless handovers, operational discipline, and continuous coverage across APAC, EMEA, and Americas.

Drive automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps, cost governance, and data platform optimization to reduce toil, improve resilience, and enable safe delivery.

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

15–20 years of progressive experience in cloud operations, platform engineering, or data engineering with significant production operations ownership.

Hands-on experience in 24/7 production operations ownership, including critical incident escalation and follow-the-sun leadership of distributed teams.

Strong proficiency in multi-cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), ITIL/ITSM frameworks with ServiceNow, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Bicep), and data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Synapse, ADLS).

Experienced leader comfortable managing large, globally distributed operations teams with structured on-call rotations and follow-the-sun handovers.

Deep operational expertise spanning cloud infrastructure, data platform management, and incident/problem/change management in a production environment with strong emphasis on reliability and automation.

Proven ability to communicate complex operational metrics and incident impacts clearly to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
