Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines integrating diverse data sources including vessels, projects, campaigns, and third-party services.
Design and maintain data models and database structures, including ER modeling, on Microsoft Azure cloud data platform.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and support data scientists and report developers in accessing required data.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles.
Mandatory hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data platform components like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Microsoft SQL Server, and Azure Analysis Services.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
Job location: Chennai.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong experience in designing and deploying complex data models and pipelines in agile environments using data-oriented languages like SQL, Python, Spark.
Proven ability to collaborate closely with business and technical teams to fine-tune data requirements and enable data-driven decision making.
Experience handling diverse data types including geospatial, time series, structured, and unstructured data on cloud platforms.
