Administer and maintain CentOS/ALMA Linux systems across Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud environments supporting large-scale EDA compute farms and workflows.
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure at scale using Terraform and Ansible; monitor system health and troubleshoot complex issues to minimize downtime during critical tape-out periods.
Manage license servers and batch scheduling systems; build runbooks and documentation; participate in rotational shifts and on-call weekend support.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience, ideally in compute-intensive or EDA environments.
Strong proficiency with CentOS, ALMA Linux or similar in production cloud environments.
Experience with Azure (preferred), and working knowledge of AWS or GCP.
Proven experience using Terraform and Ansible for large-scale infrastructure deployment and management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in troubleshooting network connectivity and system failures using diagnostic tools without reliance on runbooks.
Able to automate repeated tasks with Bash and Python scripting to improve operational efficiency.
Skilled at communicating complex infrastructure issues clearly to senior stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams across network, security, CAD, and DevOps domains.
