Lead and execute embedded software requirement analysis, detailed design, implementation, and testing for Front Line Care respiratory and cardiac devices.
Collaborate with Project Manager and Sustaining Team to solve engineering issues ensuring products meet performance and functional criteria within schedule.
Produce high-quality technical documentation and contribute to process improvements and compliance actions related to product software development.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
6 to 10 years of work experience in embedded software development, covering at least one full embedded software development lifecycle from concept to release.
Technical skills required: Embedded OS experience (FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Embedded Linux), programming in C, C++, QT, knowledge of software design patterns.
Experience with embedded systems interfaces and protocols such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, USB, TCP/IP driver development and ability to read schematics and interact with hardware engineers.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven technical contributor who can independently lead design reviews and resolve complex embedded software problems in medical device context.
Experienced in developing embedded software compliant with regulatory requirements, ideally with knowledge of FDA standards for medical devices.
Comfortable working collaboratively with R&D and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical delivery with quality and compliance considerations.
