Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable API automation frameworks for Spring Boot microservices on Google Cloud Platform using Java, RestAssured or Karate, and BDD.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage test cases and execution using Jira and Xray, ensuring API functionality, performance, security, and data quality.
Define and execute the organization’s API automation strategy incorporating AI-enabled testing tools, collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape testable designs, and enforce QA best practices and secure coding standards.
Minimum Requirements
8–12 years of experience in software development and quality assurance with a strong focus on API automation.
Strong proficiency in Java and API testing tools such as RestAssured, BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin), and experience with Spring Boot and cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Jira and Xray for test management and integration, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experienced in leading API automation efforts within Agile development teams, with hands-on coding ability and participation in sprint ceremonies.
Skilled in applying AI tools for test design and automation to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Comfortable working in cloud-native microservices environments with strong collaboration across developers, architects, product managers, and integration partners.
