Mgr, Software Engineer

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and scrum masters to deliver multiple large-scale projects in the core commerce platform.

Own application development lifecycle, technical analysis, architecture design, effort estimation, and delivery milestones ensuring on-time, high-quality releases.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop platform roadmap and present project status to senior leadership, while managing project financials and operational support.

8+ years of software development experience, preferably full stack, plus 5+ years managing engineering teams and technology delivery.

Proven experience with Java, GraphQL, NoSQL, Event-Driven Architecture, scalable architectures, resiliency and performance design.

Experience managing globally distributed teams using Agile methodologies and navigating complex, matrixed organizations.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or equivalent work experience.

Experienced in leading large, complex software projects with accountability for delivery and technical quality in the commerce or related technology domain.

Comfortable working in ambiguous, matrixed environments requiring coordination across multiple sites and stakeholders.

Skilled in strategic collaboration with senior leadership and vendor partners, managing timelines, budgets, and prioritization under pressure.
