Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable API automation frameworks leveraging Java, RestAssured or Karate, and BDD practices for a Spring Boot microservices platform on GCP.
Manage test case creation, execution, and reporting using Jira and Xray; integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure functional, performance, and security standards are met.
Define and execute QA strategies incorporating AI-enabled tools for test design, automation, and analysis; collaborate cross-functionally to identify quality risks and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Minimum Requirements
8–12 years of experience in software development and quality assurance with strong API automation focus.
Strong proficiency in Java and experience with Spring Boot microservices architecture.
Proven experience with API automation tools like RestAssured, BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin), and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in cloud-native testing and platform validation including Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP services within microservices environments.
Familiarity with AI-assisted testing methodologies and ability to evaluate and implement AI tools for automation enhancement.
Operationally capable of handling issues independently, ensuring secure coding practices, and maintaining high code/test coverage standards.
