Lead Software Engineer Java / python

Lead design, development, and technical troubleshooting of secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas.

Drive adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational stability.

Lead and manage a team of 8+ software engineers including daily work management and production system issue handling.

5+ years of applied software engineering experience with formal training or certification.

Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java or Python preferred).

Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.

Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools and knowledge of secure, responsible AI use in engineering workflows.

Experienced in financial services IT systems and software development life cycle with strong agile methodology knowledge (CI/CD, resiliency, security).

Proven ability to lead and manage mid-sized engineering teams in complex production environments.

Familiarity with cloud-native technologies, preferably AWS, and certification in Java or Python is a plus.
