Design, develop, test, implement, and support .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 8 backend components, APIs, and batch jobs within enterprise Employee Benefits applications.
Participate in Agile development processes including estimation, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and production readiness discussions.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform code reviews, support modernization of legacy .NET assets, and document technical decisions and runbooks for the POD.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in enterprise application environments.
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 8, REST APIs, and Oracle SQL.
Working knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows, unit/integration testing, Agile methodologies, and basic AWS cloud fundamentals.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools; responsible review of AI-generated code and artifacts.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of backend .NET service design and development within a domain-driven Employee Benefits applications environment.
Proficient in balancing quick fixes and maintainable long-term solutions, able to perform root-cause analysis and collaborate across cross-functional teams distributed across India and US timezones.
Comfortable working in Agile teams with strong collaboration and communication skills, actively participating in continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and production support activities.
