Business Analyst US P&C Insurance Commercial Claims

Bridge business stakeholders and technology teams to design and optimize end-to-end commercial insurance systems and workflows across Wholesale Brokers, MGAs, and Carriers.

Document and translate complex U.S. P&C commercial insurance workflows into business requirements, functional specs, and user stories covering lifecycle events like new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.

Drive submission management optimization including defining requirements for intelligent document processing and ensuring seamless system and data integrations including API definitions and bordereau reporting.

5-7 years of Business Analysis experience strictly within the U.S. P&C Insurance industry with hands-on US P&C Commercial claims experience mandatory.

Strong domain expertise in commercial insurance distribution model involving Wholesale Brokers, MGAs, and Carriers.

Technical familiarity with insurance core systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, Origami Risk), ACORD standards, and Agile methodologies including Jira user stories.

Location and working mode: Bangalore, Work from Office.

Deep understanding of commercial insurance workflows including submissions, underwriting, and carrier policy administration in US P&C context.

Proficient in process mapping, SQL data validation, and documentation tools (Lucidchart, Visio) to drive clear requirement gathering and system integrations.

Experienced with Excess & Surplus (E&S) and non-admitted markets, and holds or is familiar with CPCU or AU professional insurance designations.
