Lead and own enterprise-wide initiatives to improve monitoring effectiveness, alert optimization, and reduce incident volumes across multiple domains.
Define and enforce corporate standards for multi-domain monitoring including infrastructure, application, cloud, network, batch, and mainframe.
Design, configure, and administer Event Management platforms Oracle Unified Assurance (Assure1) and IBM Netcool, including backend support, automation, and advanced event correlation using ML and data-driven methods.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years experience in enterprise Event Management, Fault Management, Service Level Management, or production environments.
3+ years leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives in monitoring effectiveness or alert optimization.
Hands-on expertise with Oracle Unified Assurance / Assure1 and/or IBM Netcool suites (OMNIbus, Netcool Impact, ITM).
Proficiency in Linux Administration (RHEL) and scripting (Python, Bash, Perl, or Shell) for event parsers and API integration.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in multi-domain environments including Cloud, Network, Telecommunications, and Mainframe with strong ITIL Event Management knowledge.
Strategic thinker capable of defining corporate standards and executing enterprise-wide monitoring improvements.
Technically skilled, able to manage and scale HA event management platforms and automate incident response using AIOps techniques.
