Lead and manage the backend engineering team, accountable for sprint delivery, engineering quality, and technical growth of the location.
Own the backend AI orchestration service for an in-vehicle voice assistant, ensuring availability, incident management, and continuous feature delivery including streaming AI service calls and multi-intent handling.
Manage release/version control, monitoring, incident resolution within 24-hour SLA, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate on vehicle integration and defect triage.
Minimum Requirements
8+ years backend engineering experience with Python and 2+ years leading a team of 5–10 engineers as technical lead with accountability for team delivery.
Hands-on expertise in Python (FastAPI, asyncio), streaming architectures (SSE/WebSocket/gRPC), REST/gRPC APIs, PostgreSQL, LLM API integration, Docker/Kubernetes, Azure cloud (AKS, Managed Identity, Key Vault, Monitor), and Terraform/IaC.
Experience with production service accountability: monitoring, incident management, CI/CD (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub), Scrum process discipline, and English proficiency at C1 level.
Willingness and ability to work overlapping CET hours with daily alignment and travel to Germany for onboarding, knowledge transfers, and workshops.

Experienced technical lead with proven ability to deliver large-scale backend services in AI/ML or voice assistant domains, combining hands-on coding with leadership.
Strong problem solver comfortable owning complex architectural decisions and production system stability, including incident resolution and operational optimizations.
Capable of building and growing an offshore engineering location with experience in cross-timezone collaboration and fostering technical excellence aligned to client requirements.
