Lead development and enforcement of a Global Quality Services Framework and software quality assurance strategies for complex IT projects.
Define testing scope, approach, test plans, and ensure alignment with project milestones across multiple QA domains (SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production).
Develop and execute automated test cases using Java, Karate, Selenium, debug defects using logs and tracing tools, and provide regular quality metrics and reports to IT teams and management.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years in software quality assurance and testing using Java, including at least 2 years in test automation and 2 years with test management tools (Qtest/QualityCenter).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1+ year informal lead experience working with technical teams in QA/test environments.
Experience with API testing and debugging tools (e.g., Karate mandatory, Postman), defect management tools (e.g., JIRA), and working in virtual testing environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced individual contributor capable of coordinating cross-functional teams and influencing testing strategies for moderately to highly complex IT initiatives.
Able to work in Agile, fast-paced environments with strong technical skills in Java-based test automation frameworks and debugging.
Familiarity with healthcare testing environments, integration technologies (web services, MQ), vendor collaborations, and SDLC processes preferred but not mandatory.
