Own the software project delivery ensuring it meets timing, specifications, quality, and budget targets.
Manage software system design, development activities, version releases, documentation, and requirement tracking.
Support ECU project manager by evaluating system functionality and analyzing risks related to the software sub-project.
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Prior ECU software project management experience is desired.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of C programming, microcontrollers, and basic hardware concepts; familiarity with configuration management (SDOM) and requirement management tools (RQ1, DOORs).
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
Other: Flexibility to travel to customer locations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in managing embedded software projects, specifically for ECU or automotive powertrain systems.
Familiar with automotive software tools such as INCA, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, and vehicle diagnostic tools.
Able to handle multi-disciplinary coordination involving software development, calibration, and system integration within automotive environment.
