Own and lead the global Software Asset Management (SAM) strategy, governance, compliance, and end-to-end software lifecycle to ensure audit-readiness and standardized software usage across the enterprise.
Drive measurable cost optimization and value realization from strategic enterprise agreements, managing budgets, renewals, consumption, and software economic decision-making.
Lead tooling roadmap and global team performance, manage vendor relationships, and integrate SAM tools with ITSM and CMDB to enhance automation and user experience.
Minimum Requirements
Significant IT experience leading global Software Asset Management or similar IT governance/compliance functions.
Demonstrated experience leading software vendor license audits and large-scale internal compliance programs.
Hands-on experience with SAM tooling such as Flexera FNMS, ServiceNow SAM, App Portal, and integration with ITSM and CMDB.
Work Experience Required: Significant experience leading large global teams and managing multi-million dollar software portfolios and budgets.

Experienced in managing complex software license compliance and governance at a global enterprise scale with direct accountability for audit readiness and vendor negotiations.
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Legal, Finance, Security, and Enterprise Architecture in regulated and high compliance environments.
Proven leadership capabilities managing dispersed international teams and driving strategic transformation in SAM within technology-driven industries, preferably biopharmaceutical or life sciences.
