Define and lead risk-based test strategies and automation for Group Disability and Absence solutions covering claims, leave management, benefit calculations, payments, and servicing.
Lead end-to-end quality engineering including defect triage, root-cause analysis, production-readiness assessments, and integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Mentor engineers and communicate quality risks and release recommendations to stakeholders while maintaining hands-on technical leadership across Agile teams.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years in quality engineering, test automation, software testing, or software development.
Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) and test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, TOSCA, REST Assured, Postman).
Experience with API testing, SQL, test-data management, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native apps, and knowledge of disability claims, leave processes, benefit calculations, and payments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Hands-on technical leader able to lead quality engineering across multiple Agile teams with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Experienced in risk-based, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing with ability to connect operational and regulatory risks to testing strategies.
Comfortable using AI-assisted tools for test creation, automation, failure analysis, and defect triage in a regulated financial services environment.
