Lead detection and response for security incidents across networks, systems, and applications, including initial triage, analysis, and incident documentation.
Conduct proactive investigations like threat hunting using Smith & Nephew's security tools and platforms.
Develop comprehensive reports with findings and recommendations to improve detection, processes, and security capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 4+ years experience in Information Security with hands-on work on SIEM and EDR/XDR technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Experience with MITRE ATT&CK, network protocols (OSI, TCP/IP), Windows/Linux logs, AWS and Azure cloud logs.
Work hours Monday to Friday, 6 PM - 3 AM IST (US business hours).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in applying security frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSFv2, and SP800-61r2 in operational contexts.
Comfortable working independently and across multiple functions including IT, HR, Legal, and outsourced SOC teams.
Strong technical communication skills with the ability to create detailed incident reports and lead mentorship within the team.
