Own technical configuration and integration of Vertex tax engine including tax drivers, mappings, custom rules, and ERP integrations (e.g., Oracle NetSuite).
Lead and manage offshore Center of Excellence team responsible for Vertex configuration, automated tax testing framework, and tax-content maintenance.
Provide senior escalation for complex configuration/testing issues and oversee Vertex governance, monthly content reviews, and quarterly service releases.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 8 years experience including hands-on indirect tax technology, tax engine (Vertex) implementation and configurations.
Hands-on experience integrating Vertex O Series with ERP systems such as Oracle NetSuite.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
Experience with US indirect tax and global VAT regimes, and proven people leadership including coaching and workload delegation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Technically proficient in tax engine implementation and ERP integrations, able to lead complex and high-complexity initiatives within indirect tax technology.
Experienced in cross-functional collaboration, translating tax and business requirements into system design and functional specifications.
Demonstrated leadership of offshore teams in a specialized tax technology CoE environment, with strong project management and structured testing governance skills.
