About This Role

Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications and database components under guidance of senior technical staff.

Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions; assist with relational database design and management.

Support data migrations, scheduled processes, system integrations, troubleshoot issues, and participate in code reviews and deployment workflows.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience in Database Engineering.

Foundational knowledge of relational databases and SQL (queries, joins, keys, relationships, normalization).

Foundational programming experience in one or more languages such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience with relational database platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle with database-management tools.

Basic familiarity with software development concepts like source control (e.g., Git), debugging, testing, and APIs.

Exposure or willingness to learn ETL/data integration, stored procedures, query optimization, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), and BI/reporting tools.
