Manager, Machine Learning Engineer - Applied AI

Program-manage a portfolio of machine learning initiatives including LLM/RAG workflows, clinical NLP, and MLOps with end-to-end ownership of outcomes.

Own multi-track project plans with timelines, risks, and resources while driving cross-functional team alignment across Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Customer teams.

Mentor ML engineers and data scientists; establish scalable processes such as templates, playbooks, and postmortems to improve team impact.

10+ years experience in Applied ML/DS/AI or ML-heavy product/engineering roles with 5+ years leading multiple ML program streams or teams.

Proven experience shipping production ML/LLM systems yielding clear business outcomes.

Strong program management skills including roadmapping, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.

Must be willing and able to work 100% onsite in Bangalore, India.

Technical leader capable of going deep on ML engineering work while managing scale and complexity across multiple teams and projects.

Experienced in healthcare domain with familiarity in privacy, safety, and compliance issues relevant to ML applications.

Proficient operator in final mile delivery with high judgment, urgency, and ability to resolve ambiguous problems into clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
