Maersk Owned Controlled Operations Specialist

Manage end-to-end Air Export and Import operations for Maersk Owned Controlled Air including booking, documentation, shipment tracking, and cargo release.

Create and maintain accurate Sales Orders (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO), monitor shipment milestones, and manage customer invoicing and financial reconciliations in line with contracts and tariffs.

Investigate and resolve operational and billing exceptions, support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, financial controls, and compliance standards.

Graduate or equivalent qualification.

3–5 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, preferably in Air Export and/or Import operations.

Good knowledge of air freight operations, shipment documentation, order management, billing, and financial processes including reconciliations and RCA.

Proficiency in MS Excel.

Experience working with global air-freight customers and managing multi-stakeholder coordination across regions.

Detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on accuracy, timeliness, and SLA adherence.

Comfortable managing multiple operational and financial activities simultaneously and acting as a subject-matter contact for assigned processes and issues.
