Build and maintain asynchronous event-driven components using Apache Kafka, ensuring high code quality through unit/integration testing and active participation in code reviews.
Minimum Requirements
0 to 2 years of professional or demonstrable internship/project experience in backend software development.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on programming experience with Java 8+ and Spring Boot framework including REST API development and Spring Data JPA.
Working knowledge of SQL on relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL) and basic messaging concepts with Apache Kafka or similar.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Familiar with clean code, SOLID principles, and modern software engineering practices suitable for scalable, distributed microservices.
Experience or strong interest in working with large data volumes and high-throughput, event-driven enterprise systems.
Comfortable using developer tools like GitHub, GitHub Copilot, and writing unit/integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.
