Own end-to-end application system development including feasibility, design, coding, testing, implementation, and support in coordination with the Technology team.
Provide expert analysis and solutions for complex application development problems, evaluate business and system processes against industry standards, and recommend security measures post-implementation.
Act as subject matter expert (SME) and advisor for senior stakeholders and team members, exercise independent judgement, and uphold compliance with firm policies and regulations.
Minimum Requirements
8-12 years of relevant application development experience with hands-on coding in Java, Python, Kafka, Apache Iceberg, and distributed systems.
In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring framework, Kafka, distributed cache/systems (e.g., Apache Ignite, Redis).
Experience with relational databases like Oracle; experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Apache Iceberg) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in microservices architecture and API-first design implementing REST, WebSocket, and gRPC protocols.
Hands-on experience building applications on cloud platforms including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
Demonstrates capability to work with limited supervision and to advise/coach others while ensuring adherence to organizational and security standards.
