Manage day-to-day operations, monitoring, and support of IBM Power i (iSeries) environments within a 24x7x365 managed services model.
Maintain system stability, performance, and availability, adhering to customer SLAs, including backup/recovery, patching, replication, and incident management.
Integrate operational activities with customer ticketing systems, document procedures, and support HA/DR replication and disaster recovery testing.
Minimum Requirements
3–7+ years of IBM Power i experience.
Experience with HA/DR technologies such as MIMIX, QEDD, or Itera mandatory.
Technical expertise with IBM i Access Client Solutions, BRMS, and operational tools like Halcyon required.
Work Experience Required: 3–7+ years in IBM Power i; Managed services experience preferred; Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in 24x7 managed service environments with deep operational knowledge of IBM Power i systems and HA/DR replication tools.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to document and communicate technical information effectively within support frameworks.
Familiar with ITIL processes and practical operational task execution including backup, patch management, job scheduling, and incident resolution.
