Recruit, hire, and mentor senior engineering staff, establishing technical standards and building scalable internal developer tools and platforms.
Collaborate across geographically dispersed engineering teams to identify developer pain points, drive adoption of tools without formal authority, and measure impact using developer productivity metrics such as DORA.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of professional software engineering experience at Principal level or above.
Proven experience in setting architecture and technical direction across multiple systems or teams.
Proficient in C#, .NET, Python, AWS, and Java; experience building internal developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or platform engineering at scale.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Has prior experience founding or scaling Developer Experience or Platform Engineering teams from scratch, including team building and hiring.
Experienced in leading complex, cross-team technical initiatives across geographies without formal authority, preferably between US and India teams.
Demonstrates strong technical communication skills with history of technical leadership via public speaking, writing, or open source contributions; experience collaborating closely with Product Managers to build roadmaps under ambiguity.
