Own administration and operational management of Google Apigee X platform including hybrid runtime components on GKE in a production environment.
Manage platform scalability, upgrades, capacity planning, security policies, network connectivity, and high-availability/disaster recovery strategies to ensure reliable API platform operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for alignment on platform architecture, maintain operational documentation, lead incident response and mentor engineers on Apigee X and GCP networking.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years in API/platform engineering with 3+ years hands-on experience administering Google Apigee X or Apigee hybrid in production.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with GCP networking (VPC, subnets, routing, firewall, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, VPN/Interconnect) and Apigee X platform components.
Work onsite at Pune or Noida office at least 3 days/week (hybrid work model).
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experienced in implementing and managing secure, scalable API platforms with deep operational expertise in Apigee X and GCP networking.
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and CI/CD pipelines for configuration-as-code deployments.
Holds or is pursuing Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Apigee API Engineer; skilled at troubleshooting across network, platform, and application layers in high-throughput API environments.
